Flushing of Caro Estates Subdivision

Lafourche Parish Water District will be conducting routine main line flushing in the Caro Estates subdivision on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.   

Discoloration of water may intensify while flushing is taking place.

While we expect to finish flushing on Wednesday, it is possible more time is required.

Tarpon Heights Flushing

Lafourche Parish Water District will be conducting main line flushing on East 86th, East 87th, East 88th, East 89th, and East 90th streets beginning on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 and concluding on Thursday, July 27, 2023. During this maintenance flushing, you may encounter discolored water. District personnel will remain on site to try to minimize any discolored water. If you do experience discolored water, please flush your internal plumbing for several minutes to try and clear up your water before calling our office. This rectifies the issue a large majority of the time. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these maintenance activities.

Important Water Announcement (10-10-22)

Beginning Tuesday, October 11th, residences in the Valentine to Fourchon area may experience a temporary change in the clarity of their tap water. The fire department will be flow testing fire hydrants as part of the fire rating program. Their testing is expected to last one week. When testing is being performed in your area, you may experience discolored water temporarily. District personnel will flush all areas that are being tested.
